Mud
Some structures just used mud with no frame to construct the walls. Clumps of mud are piled up about 20 cm (8 inhes) tall. When it has sufficiently dried the next level is piled on.

This mud wall had a termite problem. The owner tore down that section, rebuilt the section with mud and inserted a piece of plastic to prevent the future movement of termites.

The mud for the walls is dug from a pit that is right in the homestead.

The close up pictures are showing details of this kitchen. It was stated in the interview that this structure was constructed 12 years earlier.
